How to Replace Washer Bearing & Tub Seal Kit (W10435302)

This complete repair guide shows how to replace the Whirlpool washer bearing and tub seal kit W10435302. This kit fits many Whirlpool, Maytag, and Kenmore front-load washers. Our aftermarket version includes the special installation tool (W10447783), which most competitors do NOT provide.

10-Step DIY Repair Guide

1. Unplug washer and shut off water supply
2. Remove the top, back, and front panels
3. Detach the tub from the suspension and remove the drive belt
4. Separate the outer tub and remove the inner tub
5. Knock out old bearings using punch and hammer
6. Clean the bearing housing thoroughly
7. Install new bearings with included tool
8. Replace tub seal and reassemble the tub
9. Reconnect all hoses and wiring
10. Test for leaks and run a full cycle
